My name is Chris Canuel and I live in Hampstead, North Carolina. I am an aspiring pastor, church planter, and author. I formerly served as Associate Pastor of Crossmark Church here in Hampstead. God worked through us, and I believe touched several lives through our church, but in and through Crossmark as it was, God had finished what He was doing. Now a new chapter is opening in my life, what it is I honestly have no idea, but I am excited to see what awaits, and what God is doing. For the moment, I am seeking to simply draw closer to Him.
I love Jesus, and am trying to love Him more everyday. In all honesty, I struggle with that, as I allow my sins and desires, and my love of self get in the way. Still I know that God is changing me from the inside out, and I look forward to the day when all of these struggles are no more, and I can gaze upon the face of my Savior.
I am married to a wonderful woman and the love of my life, Meredith. We have 3 children, Jason, Noah, and Caleb, and we are also expecting our 4th child, Amelia, in January of 2010. I have certainly been and am still being blessed beyond belief..
I enjoy writing and hope that through my writing someone out there may be encouraged, or uplifted in some way. Sometimes my blogs may be long, sometimes short. Either way, I pray you will get something out of what I have to say, as I share segments of my life, and insights that I believe God gives me as I make this journey with Him.
